Annie Nominations
Nominations for the 34th Annual Annie Awards - the animation Oscars - were announced yesterday. And it's neck and neck between Flushed Away and Cars, each with 9 nominations. Dreamworks Animation can't lose, because it's the driving force behind both movies; but, as you can see, the hero of Flushed Away is looking worried about Lightning McQueen racing up behind him. Sorry, folks, I've run out of puns. We'll have to wait until the Annie Award Ceremony on 11 February 2007 to see who wins.

I've only seen a few clips from Cars. Impressive animation, but cars with personalities has been done to death by Disney, so I'm not exactly bursting to see it.
