If you're into ice skating, here's a hot tip: priority booking is now available for this winter's ice rink in the 18th century courtyard of London's Somerset House, from 21 November 2007 to 27 January 2008. (Booking doesn't open to the general public until 9 October.) Prices are as stiff as the ice: adults £10 to £15 according to time of day, £7 children (12 years or younger).
