Monet Punched

Claude Monet - Le Pont d'Argenteuil (1874) plus closeup of The HoleFour or five hooligans broke into the Musée d'Orsay in the early hours of this morning. One of them punched a hole in Claude Monet's Le Pont d'Argenteuil (1874) before fleeing. They had gained entry by breaking through a back door that boasted "big bolts", but was, "perhaps, fragile," according to French Culture Minister Christine Albanel. For Goodness' sake! What's the point of fixing big bolts to a flimsy door that any yobbo can kick in? At least the alarm went off.
