Quentin Blake Show

Today the Foundling Museum in Holborn, London, opened Quentin Blake - As Large As Life, an exhibition of cartoons commissioned by four hospitals in France and the UK to cheer up their patients. What a brilliant idea. Over 60 new works created for a children’s hospital, a maternity hospital, young people with eating disorders and older patients with mental health problems will be shown. Above is Blake's cartoon of a new mum greeting her baby, one of 11 for a French hospital's delivery suites. The exhibition runs until 15 April (title link).
