Art Trivia

Douglas Gordon is furious that his gold sculpture The Left Hand and the Right Hand Have Abandoned One Another (2007) has been stolen while in Christie's warehouse. It has an insurance value of £500,000, which gives you some idea of what Turner Prize winners can earn! Hard cheese, Douglas. Make the next one out of stainless steel (CLICK). And Grayson Perry, another Turner Prize winner, has given his 6 tapestries collectively entitled The Vanity of Small Differences to the Arts Council Collection and the British Council, presumably because he couldn't find anyone daft enough to buy them (CLICK).
