Kids Eyeview Poster

Lenticular printing, which gives you two different pictures according to the angle at which you view them, has been around for a while, but hasn't been of much use except for its novelty value. I've seen children's bookmarks that show children's faces from one angle and animal heads from another angle. Now the Anar Foundation in Spain has come up with a more serious use for lenticular printing. This poster of a battered boy when seen from the view of the average 10-year-old child shows a message in Spanish translated as "If somebody hurts you, phone us and we'll help you" plus a telephone number. From an adult's perspective, this message and number cannot be seen. The assumption is the child is walking with his or her abuser, who would frighten him or her into not phoning the helpline (CLICK). It's an interesting idea, but will it work?
