This evocative oil painting The glittering Spindrift running before the wind by British artist Montague Dawson leads Bonhams’ Marine Sale in London on April 15. The work isn't contemporaneous as this tea clipper - the longest and fastest ever built - sank in 1868 and Dawson wasn't born until 1890, but its value is still estimated at £25,000 - £35,000 (CLICK).
